Aint No Place Like Home Rob Sawyer returns to Australia after a 3-month, beer drenched, European Summer Tour, filled with countless sleepless nights. Playing in France, Holland, Switzerland, London, and Spain, his diverse, individual acoustic tunes, and an attitude towards playing songs to people no matter what hour of the night, managed to attain him some shows that even some European artists could only dream of. In June, Sawyer managed to score himself a standing ovation from a sell-out crowd at Paris’s world famous L’Olympia stadium, whilst supporting good ol’ rocker John Fogerty from Creedence Clearwater Revival. He graced the stage at The Sugar Factory in Amsterdam, with New Zealand Reggae champions Katchafire in Amsterdam, and reduced thousands to dance at the French Billabong Beach Session, on Hossegor Beach, alongside US surf legend Donavon Frankenreiter. He played in small towns, concert halls, won the hearts of drunken rowdy bar listeners, put a smile on the face of late night street dwellers, and even managed to hold back on the beers enough to get his head together, and make his flight back home to Melbourne.
